LCD Indoor/Outdoor (630-0867) Operation Faxback Doc. # 7947 Thermometer/Hygrometer CURRENT INDOOR TEMPERATURE/RELATIVE HUMIDITY The thermometer/hygrometer automatically displays the current indoor temperature and relative humidity on the upper display. Note: If the indoor temperature rises above 104.0 degrees F/40.0 degrees C or falls below 23.0 degrees F/-5.0 degrees C, the upper display might blank out. CURRENT OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE The thermometer/hygrometer automatically displays MEM and the current outdoor temperature on the lower display. Note: If the outdoor temperature rises above 158.0 degrees F/70.0 degrees C, the thermometer/hygrometer displays HHH on the lower displays. If the outdoor temperature falls below -58 degrees F/-50 degrees C, the thermometer/hygrometer displays LLL on the lower display. COMFORT RANGE When the indoor temperature is between 68.0 degrees F/20.0 degrees C and 77.0 degrees F/25.0 degrees C, and the indoor relative humidity is between 40% and 70%, COM automatically appears in the upper display. This indicates the best environment for your comfort. HIGH/LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY When the indoor relative humidity rises above 70%, WET automatically appears on the upper display, indicating excess moisture in the air. When the indoor relative humidity falls below 40%, DRY automatically appears on the upper display, indicating inadequate moisture in the air. OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE MEMORY The thermometer automatically stores the lowest and highest outdoor temperatures it recorded since you last pressed RESET or replaced the the batteries. READING THE TEMPERATURE MEMORY To display the lowest recorded outdoor temperature, press MIN until MEM and MIN appear. To display the highest recorded outdoor temperature, press MAX until MEM and MAX appear. To return to the current outdoor temperature display, press MIN or MAX until MIN or MAX disappears from the display. RESETTING THE TEMPERATURE MEMORY To clear the lowest recorded outdoor temperature, press MIN until MIN appears, then press RESET. To clear the highest recorded outdoor temperature, press MAX until MAX appears, then press RESET. When you press RESET, MIN or MAX is still displayed, but the displayed temperature resets to the current outdoor temperature. To return to the current outdoor temperature display, press MIN or MAX until MIN or MAX disappears from the display. (LB/all-11/30/94)
