CAN THIS ANTENNA BE USED ON A BOAT; IS IT COMPLETELY ENCAPSULATED?

Only the coil of this antenna is encapsulated.  It could be used on a
boat; however, because the antenna is NOT completely encapsulated, use
around saltwater would be detrimental.
