ET-904 (430-1014) Features Faxback Doc. # 15549 The Radio Shack ET-904 900 MHz Spread Spectrum Cordless Telephone uses the most advanced cordless telephone technology to give you superior audio quality and extended range. The telephone digitizes and scrambles your conversation before transmitting it between the handset and the base, so your conversation is secure from interception by other cordless telephone or scanner users. Its special features include: Digital Spread spectrum Technology - uses an advanced, patented integrated circuit to bring you the latest in high-security communication technology originally developed for the military. 900 MHz Operation - uses the recently allocated 900-MHz band to provide less interference from other cordless phones, over twice the range of 46/49 MHz cordless phones, and better quality. 100 Channels - reduces the chances of interference from other 900 MHz cordless telephones. Paging System - lets you send a signal from the base to the handset so you can page someone or easily locate the handset. Two Priority Memories - let you quickly dial important phone numbers such as the fire department, police, or a doctor. Redial - lets you quickly redial the last- dialed number. Mute - prevents the person on the other end of the phone line from hearing your conversation with someone in the room. Flash - sends an electronic switchhook signal for use with special phone services such as call waiting. Touch Tone or Pulse Dialing - lets you use your phone with either type of service. Hearing Aid Compatible - lets you use this telephone with hearing aids that have a T (telephone) switch. NOTE: Cordless phones such as this one require AC power to operate. When the AC power is off, you cannot dial out or receive incoming calls using your ET-904. For this reason, the ET-904 should not be your only telephone. To be safe, you should also have a phone that draws its power from the telephone line (not a cordless phone) so you can still make and receive calls if there is an AC power failure. (br/all-06/27/95)
