The microphone is muted when DTMF tones are being sent. HORN ALERT (B4) Operates only if horn-alert wiring is connected. Provides an external alert (e.g., from car horn or headlights) of incoming call, when ignition is off. When activated, the alert sounds or flashes 10 times. AUTO ANSWER (B5) Auto Answering causes the telephone to ring three times when an incoming call is received; the telephone then answers the call automatically. The ringing tone consists of three short warbling tones (distinguishing it from normal ringing). Auto Answering is available with Mobile Telephones when the vehicle ignition is on.
