KEYGUARD The keyguard feature helps keep you from accidentally turning the phone on or off when it is in your pocket or purse. To turn on keyguard, press MENU then *. The phone displays KEYGUARD ACTIVE. To turn off keyguard, press MENU then *. The phone displays KEYGUARD OFF. NOTES: If you turn on keyguard during a call, it does not take effect until you end the call. If you press a button while keyguard is on, the phone displays PRESS MENU *. You can only answer calls by pressing SEND when keyguard is on. The any key answer feature is turned off (see "Any Key Answer"). You can make calls to emergency numbers while keyguard is on. NOTE: Keyguard automatically turns off when you turn off the phone. ANY KEY ANSWER When keyguard is turned off, you can press any key except PWR to answer an incoming call. NOTE: If you receive a call while you are entering a phone number, the phone is answered on the first keypress after the phone starts to ring. (CS-11/03/95)
