Your Radio Shack TAD-245 Telephone Answering Device with Integrated
Telephone is an economical, easy-to-use telephone answering device (TAD)
with its own integrated telephone.  It combines simplified operation with
several convenient features.

 Solid-State Storage of - lets you use a single cassette tape for incoming
 Outgoing Message         messages; requires no tape for the outgoing
                          announcement.

 Fixed Maximum Incoming - saves time on your incoming message tape by
 Message Length           limiting each caller's message to 30 seconds.

Phone Pick-Up Detection - automatically stops the outgoing announcement and
                          incoming recording and resets the TAD if you
                          answer a call with the integrated phone after the
                          TAD answers.

         Call Screening - lets you listen as the caller leaves a message so
                          you can decide whether or not to take the call.

       Remote Operation - lets you operate the TAD from any touch-tone
                          phone when you know the remote operation security
                          code.

       Remote Answer-On - lets you call the TAD from a remote location and
                          set it to answer calls.

             Toll-Saver - lets you avoid unnecessary toll charges when you
                          call by long distance to check your messages.

 Hearing Aid Compatible - the integrated telephone lets you hear amplified
                          sound using a hearing aid that has a T
                          (Telephone) switch.

   Ringer Volume Select - lets you set the telephone ringer volume to high,
                          low, or off.

This TAD has been tested and found to comply with all applicable UL and
FCC standards.

For your permanent records, we recommend that you record the serial number
in the space below.  The serial number is on the bottom of the TAD.
