Your new Radio Shack ET-330 is a convenient extension telephone with one
important difference - no cord!  This gives you complete freedom of 
movement up to 500 feet from Base Unit when using the telephone.  This,
along with the many special features listed below, will quickly make the
ET-330 an invaluable addition to your home or office.

You will save money with the ET-330 too, because you don't have to pay the
telephone company a monthly rental fee, and you get the convenience of
push-button dialing without paying extra for tone service.  Spend a few
minutes with the Owner's Manual and you will be ready to begin enjoying
many years of convenient and dependable service.

    Exclusive programmable security code "locks out" unauthorized use of
    your phone line.

    Microprocessor-controlled circuitry ensures reliability.

    Cordless Handset allows placing or receiving of calls.

    Modular connectors make installation quick and easy.

    Nickel-Cadmium batteries in the Handset recharge automatically from the
    Base Unit (or external charger).

    500 ft. (150 m) communication range (maximum), with out-of-range

    Push-button pulse-dialing works with tone or rotary telephone systems.

IMPORTANT

The ET-330 has been approved for direct connection to the telephone lines.
However, before making this connection you must notify the telephone 
company of the FCC registration and ringer equivalence numbers.  You'll
find both of these numbers on the label on the bottom of the Base Unit.

NOTE:  The ET-330 must not be connected to:

       Coin-operated systems

       Party-line systems

WARNING:  To prevent fire or shock hazard, and/or damage to the units, do 
          not expose the Handset or Base Unit to rain or moisture.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Your ET-330 Cordless Electronic Telephone operates on standard radio 
frequencies, as allocated by the FCC.  Even though the security code 
feature of the ET-330 prevents unauthorized use of your phone line, it is
possible for other radio units operating on similar frequencies within a
certain area, to inadvertently intercept your conversations and/or cause
interference on your cordless telephone.  This lack of privacy can occur
with any cordless telephone.
