It is ideal for use in your home or office, and you can mount it on the wall whenever space is limited. Its special features make it economical and easy-to use. Cordless Phone Features Advanced Super CCT Circuitry - provides clarity comparable to corded phones, reduces background noise, and increases the operating distance. Automatic Access Security - Changes when you return the handset to the Code cradle to help prevent other cordless phone users from using your phone line. COM-LOK - prevents other cordless phone users from using your hone line when the handset is on the cradle. Redial - redials the last number dialed with the touch of a button. Flash - generates the electronic equivalent of a switchhook signal for specialized services such as call-waiting. Low-Battery Indicator - lights when our handset battery needs recharging. Touch Tone or Pulse (Rotary) - lets you connect your phone to either type Dialing of service. Hearing-Aid Compatibility - lets you use your phone with hearing aids that have a T (telephone) switch. IMPORTANT: You must install and charge the battery before using the phone. Cordless phones such as this one require AC power to operate. When the AC power is off, you cannot dial out or receive incoming calls using your TAD-266. For this reason, the TAD- 266 should not be your only telephone.
