Duofone-100 Automatic Telephone Memory Dialer (430-0279) Troubleshooting Faxback Doc. # 19588 IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS Be sure the AC Power Supply plug is properly connected and that the AC outlet is "live". If AC is OK, Dialing/Store indicator will flicker when pressing [ENTER]. If power seems OK, but the DUOFONE-100 will not dial out a number (or dials incorrectly), try the following: 1. Is the AC Power cord connected? The DUOFONE-100 will not dial without AC Power Supply. 2. Is the DUOFONE-100 properly connected? 3. Is the DUOFONE-100 rear panel switch set to 10 PPS? Some of the older telephone exchanges/switching stations can not handle the faster 20 PPS dial rate. 4. If numbers will not hold in memory, replace the batteries. Use our Extra-Life type (23-582). IF YOU STILL HAVE PROBLEMS Disconnect the DUOFONE-100 immediately. If other phones then function normally, the fault is in the unit or its installation. If you're unable to locate the problem, bring the unit to your local Radio Shack. They have the personnel, parts, and service to get your DUOFONE-100 back in service as quickly as possible.
