The big buttons make the telephone easy to dial, and the amplifier lets you set the sound level you want. The beauty of the phone is enhanced by its many practical features: Built-in Amplifier - enables you to increase volume for weak reception. Touch-Tone or Pulse - lets you use the phone on either tone or rotary (Rotary) Dialing dialing systems. Touch Tone Dialing - gives you access to computer banking, alternate long-distance lines, and other special services. One-Touch Redial - lets you redial the last number dialed with the touch of a button. Hold Button - lets you put a call on hold. Ringer OFF/LO/HI Switch - lets you adjust the ringer's sound level. Hearing-Aid Compatibility - allows you to use your telephone comfortably with a hearing aid equipped with a T (telephone) switch. Desk or Wall Mount. READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLATION We have designed your telephone to conform to federal regulations and you can connect it to most telephone lines. However, each device that you connect to your telephone draws power from the line. We refer to this power draw as the device's Ringer Equivalence Number, or REN. The REN is shown on the bottom of your phone. If you are using more than one product on the line, add up all the RENs. If the total is more than five, your telephones might not ring. In rural areas, a total REN of three might impair ringer operation. FCC STATEMENT Your telephone complies with Part 68 of FCC Rules.
