We do not expect you to have problems with your telephone, but if you do,
these guidelines might help:

    If your telephone does not operate or operates poorly, check the
    connections to the phone line.  If the call is too noisy, hang up
    and redial the number.

    If you still have problems, disconnect the telephone immediately.  If
    other telephones on the same line work properly, the problem is in the
    telephone or its installation.  If you cannot locate the problem, take
    your telephone to a nearby Radio Shack store for assistance.
