The phone's features include: Big Buttons and Numbers - make it easy to dial. Last Number Redial - lets you redial the last number dialed with the touch of a button. Flash - sends an electronic switchhook signal for specialized telephone services, such as call waiting. Hold Button with Indicator - lets you put a call on hold; an indicator displays the hold status. Touch Tone or Pulse - lets you use your telephone with either type (Rotary) Dialing of service. Ringer ON/OFF Switch - allows you to disable the ringer. Hearing-Aid Compatible - allows you to use your phone with hearing aids that have a T (telephone) switch. This telephone has been tested and found to comply with all applicable UL standards. READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLATION We have designed your telephone to conform to federal regulations, and you can connect it to most telephone lines. However, each telephone draws power from the phone line. The phone's Ringer Equivalence Number (REN), shown on the bottom of your phone, represents the amount of power drawn. If you are using more than one phone or other device on the line, add up all the RENs. If the total exceeds five, your phones might not ring.
