SETTING THE SECURITY CODE

A three-digit security code prevents unauthorized persons from controlling your TAD from a remote location.

1.  While the display shows the flashing    E, press PROGRAM/ENTER.

2.  The display changes to    0 or to the first digit of the previously
    programmed security code number.

3.  Press SELECT repeatedly until the desired number appears on the
    display.  Press PROGRAM/ENTER.  The display shifts one place to left.

4.  Enter the second and third digits of the desired code number.

When you have completed programming, the display goes off momentarily then
reverts to tape counter display.
