BATTERY INSTALLATION

For battery back-up operation during an AC power failure, install a 9-volt
battery such as our 23-553.

1.  Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.

2.  Snap the battery connector onto the battery terminal.

3.  Position the battery in the compartment.

    NOTE:  Check the battery at least once a month and replace it at least
           once a year.
