USING THE INTERCOM

The [INTERCOM] button lets you page or answer pages from any extension
unit.

To page someone:

1.  Pick up the handset, and press [INTERCOM].  The INTERCOM indicator
    lights.  If the intercom light is already on, someone else is using
    the intercom.  Wait until the light goes out, and try again.

2.  Speak into the handset.  Your voice is heard from the speaker on all
    extensions.  Page the person to whom you wish to speak to pick up the
    intercom.

3.  When the conversation is over, press [HOLD] to turn off the intercom.

4.  Hang up the handset.

To answer a page:

1.  Press [INTERCOM] and pick up the handset.

2.  When the conversation is over, press [HOLD] to turn off the intercom.

3.  Hang up the handset.

Releasing [INTERCOM] before hanging up prevents you from accidentally
paging next time you pick up the handset.
