Make sure that AC power is restored and the 12V DC adapter is prop- erly connected to the TAD-1006. RESETTING THE TAD-1006 If the TAD-1006 locks up or does not operate properly, you might need to reset it. IMPORTANT: Resetting the TAD-1006 deletes all recorded messages (including any outgoing announcements), day and time settings, number of rings, and resets the remote operation security code to its default. Use a pointed object, such as a straightened paper clip, to press RESET. The TAD-1006 initializes and the ANSWER, MEMO, and PLAY indicators flash six times. Then the ANSWER indicator lights steadily. Repeat all of the procedures in "TAD Preparation" on Faxback Doc. # 32287 before you begin using the TAD-1006. (EB/LB 07/02/96)
