DuoFone-203 (430-0624) Operation Faxback Doc. # 34244 USING THE TELEPHONE DIRECTORY FEATURES You can store up to 200 names and telephone numbers into your telephone's directory. Each telephone number can be up to 32 digits long and each name can be up to 16 characters. NOTE: The actual number of directory entries available to you varies, depending on the length of your entries. See the specifications for representative samples. STORING A NAME AND NUMBER IN THE DIRECTORY Follow this procedure to store a name and telephone number in your telephone's directory. 1. Press [STORE]. NAME appears in the display. 2. Use the alphabetic keys to enter the name. If you make a mistake while entering the name, press [DELETE] to delete the last letter you entered. 3. Press [STORE]. The display goes blank. NOTE: If you have already stored an entry with the same you entered in Step 2, your telephone sounds two beeps. If you do not want to the other number, press [CLOCK] to abort the storing procedure. 4. Enter the telephone number. If you make a mistake while entering the number, press [DELETE]. Your telephone deletes the entire telephone number. Then, enter the correct telephone number. 5. Press [STORE] again. Your telephone sounds a long beep to indicate that it has stored the name and number. (IR-08/13/96)
