The DUoFONE ET-495 deluxe Cordless Telephone gives you the mobility of a
cordless phone and the handsfree convenience of a speakerphone.

The phone offers the latest advances in cordless phone technology,
including the following:

           Two-Way Paging System - lets you send a paging signal from the
                                   base to the handset, or from the handset
                                   to the base.

    Advanced Super CCT Circuitry - provides clarity comparable to corded
                                   phones, reduces back-ground noise, and
                                   increases effective operating distance.

             10-Channel Selector - lets you select the channel with the
                                   best range and least interference with
                                   the touch of a button.

Automatic Access-Protection Code - automatically changes each time you
                                   return the handset to the cradle to help
                                   prevent other cordless phone users from
                                   using your phone line.

                         COM-LOK - guarantees that other cordless phone
                                   users cannot use your phone line when
                                   the handset is on the cradle.

Your phone also offers the following:

            Two-Way Intercom - lets you use the handset and base to
                               communicate with someone else in your home
                               or office.

            30-Number Memory - lets you quickly dial important phone
                               numbers.

                     Privacy - prevents the person on the other end of the
                               phone line from hearing you as you talk to
                               someone in the room with you.

                      Redial - gives you one-touch redial of the last
                               number dialed.

                       Flash - sends an electronic switchhook signal for
                               use with special phone services such as call
                               waiting.

             Volume Controls - let you set the volumes of the sound you
                               hear through the handset and through the
                               speakerphone.

 Ringer/Tone Volume Controls - let you turn off a unit's ringer and its
                               confirmation, error, and paging tones or
                               adjust their volumes.

       Extended Battery Life - increases the length of time you can leave
                               the handset away from the cradle when the
                               handset is not in use.

Touch Tone or Pulse (Rotary) - lets you connect your phone to touch tone or
Dialing                        pulse service.

   Hearing-Aid Compatibility - lets you use your phone with hearing aids
                               that have a T (telephone) switch.
