Note: It is not advised to change the security code from the factory preset of 000000. If the new code is forgotten, the phone will have to be sent to a certified repair center at a charge to be reset. Step 7 Press [<*], Display shows 08. Press [<*] Display shows 123; Enter desired three-digit unlock code to go to step 8. Note: The unlock code can be changed after programming as described under Security Features. If the unlock code is forgotten, you can enter programming gain to verify. Step 8 Press [<*] [<*] [<*], Display shows 10. Press [<*] Display shows 011100; Enter 011110 if a second phone number is desired or continue. Before you program your second phone number according to the instructions on the back side, assemble all necessary information for that number as outlined at the top of this page. DATA Press [<*] until 01 is shown in display. CHECK Verify all data you have entered by following Steps 1-8. When display shows 11, press [SND]. (If you chose to activate a second phone number in step 8, see instructions on the back side.) DO NOT press [SND] until all data has been verified. Phones Can Only Be Programmed 3 Times to Insure Security. SECOND PHONE NUMBER PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS To program a second telephone number, you must enter 011110 for Step 8 when programming the first number. Once you have reached Step 01, after verifying the data, press [SND] and the following programming steps for the second telephone number will appear.
