Slide ON/OFF on the receiver to ON.

    When a visitor or deliver person pushes transmitter A's button, the
    transmitter's LED indicator lights and the receiver makes a bird sound.

    When a visitor or deliver person pushes transmitter B's button, the
    transmitter's LED indicator lights and the receiver makes a doorbell
    sound.

If you don't want to be bothered by the door chime, slide ON/OFF on the
receiver to OFF.
