Because of the wide variation in electrical system wiring methods on different cars, we cannot show the exact wiring for your particular car. To guide you to the proper connecting points: 1. The Orange wire MUST connect to a wire or fuse which is "hot" only when the ignition switch is on. Most cars have at least one fuse which is "hot" only when the ignition switch is on. 2. The Green wire MUST connect to a wire or fuse which is "hot" only when the headlights and/or parking lights are on. Some cars have a fuse for headlights or parking lights. Make sure this fuse is "hot" only when the lights are on. (On some cars, this fuse is always "hot"). The best location for the Green wire is to connect to an instrument panel lamp which comes on when the headlights or parking lights are on. This way, the headlight reminder will alert you if the headlights OR parking lights are left on (as opposed to using the headlights fuse which may not alert you if the parking lights are left on).
