ACCESSORIES:  The Ranger hand scanner has been designed to operate from
              a 9V-type Ni-Cad rechargeable battery such as Radio Shack
              Cat. No. 23-1265 - To recharge use Radio Shack AC adapter
              No.273-1651.

NOTE:  The 9V rechargeable battery should always be almost fully discharged
       before it is recharged.  Recharging of the battery before it is dis-
       charged will severely reduce battery life.  (Damage not covered by
       warranty). Allow battery to re-charge for 12 to 14 hours for optimum
       results.

BATTERY LIFE:  With typical security application, a 9V alkaline battery
               will provide up to 80 hours of operation.  A NiCad 9V
               rechargeable battery will provide up to 12 hours of
               operation, when fully charged.
