The Radio Shack LIGHT-UP Remote has a lighted keypad that lets you easily
see the remote's buttons in a dark room.  When you turn on the feature,
pressing any button lights the entire keypad.  The buttons you use most are
brighter, to make the remote even easier to use.

Plus, the LIGHT-UP can replace up to four standard remote controls.  Unlike
some universal remote controls, the LIGHT-UP is preprogrammed with the
commands for hundreds of remote controls...you do not have to teach the
LIGHT-UP commands.  All you have to do is tell the LIGHT-UP which remote
controls you want it to replace (by entering three-digit codes) and the
LIGHT-UP does the rest.

The manual includes a list of codes for TVs, VCRs, cable converters, CD
players, and more.  After you enter the codes for the original remotes,
the LIGHT-UP is ready to operate the original remote's most-used
functions.
