Video Processor (150-1962) Operation Faxback Doc. # 16807 The video processor's settings always affect the recorded picture. When you start to use the video processor, set all controls to their center position. Then refer to the description of each control to make adjustments. Make short trial recordings before you record a long selection. Set the controls, then record for about a minute. Then stop recording and play the copy to see the results. If necessary, readjust the controls and try again until you determine the best setting. ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS Recording with a Camera: Connect the video processor between the camera's output and the recording VCR's input. This lets you adjust for color and image accuracy while recording. This is especially useful with older cameras and portable VCRs. Playing Back Videotapes: Connect the video processor between a playback VCR or camcorder and a TV/monitor. Use it to enhance the playback quality of older tapes, rental tapes, poorly recorded originals, and second or third generation copies. Watching or Recording Off-the-Air Broadcasts: Connect the video processor between two VCRs with the second VCR's output connected to a TV or monitor. Use it to enhance images from the first VCR's tuner before recording onto the second VCR, or while viewing on the screen. Editing Videotapes: Enhance the source images as you record them. Connect the video processor between a camcorder or VCR for playback and a second VCR for the recording. Connect the second VCR's output to a TV or monitor. With Other Processors: The video processor works well in combination with other special effects generators and with switching devices. Connect the video processor to the processing or accessory loop of the other unit, if there is one. Otherwise, connect it just before the final recording or viewing device. (/all-09/05/95)
