When you select a cable channel, the converter transmits the cable signal through channel 3 or 4 of your TV's tuner, also known as your cable output channel. Once you select you cable output channel, you can use the converter or remote control to select the desired channels. Important Note The remote control cable converter will not decode "scrambled" premium channels. You may, however, use it in conjunction with the cable box provided by the cable company. This will allow you to receive the premium channels and still have remote control of all other channels.
