Model 151 MovieCorder (160-0852) Playback Functions Faxback Doc. # 18468 VISUAL SEARCH Visual search lets you view a tape quickly in the forward or reverse direction. To use this function, begin regular playback of a tape. Then, press [FAST-F] to search forward (9 time) or [REWIND] to search backward (7 times). Press [PLAY] to return to normal playback. During visual search, the sound mutes, and the picture quality is lower than during normal playback. FAST-FORWARD AND REWIND When the camcorder is in the stop mode, press [FAST-F] to move the tape rapidly forward. Press [REWIND] to move the tape rapidly backward. There is no sound or picture during normal fast-forward or rewind. Use the real-time tape counter to help you locate specific sections of the tape. If you hold down [FAST-F] or [REWIND] during fast-forward/rewind, the tape speed decreases and you can see the picture in viewfinder. Release the button to return to normal fast-forward or rewind. FREEZE-FRAME Freeze-frame lets you stop action while playing a tape. Press [PAUSE/STILL] during playback to freeze the picture. Press [PLAY] to return to normal playback. During freeze-frame, the picture quality is lower than during normal viewing. If you leave the camcorder in the freeze-frame mode for about 5 minutes, the camcorder automatically enters the stop mode. EDIT SEARCH The edit/search feature lets you move forward or backward through a recording a few frames at a time. First, press [PAUSE/STILL] to freeze the picture. Then, press EDIT SEARCH [+] to move forward a few frames or press [-] to move backward. During freeze-frame and edit search, the picture quality is lower than during normal viewing. (CS 11/6/95)
