The warning indicators appear on the monitor display to let you know when
you need to correct a condition or adjust the camcorder's settings.

NOTE:  Except for the CHANGE THE CASSETTE and backlight warnings, and the
self recording mode warnings, the indicators light in large characters for
the first 3 seconds, and then blink in regular-size characters.  The table
below shows the large character display, a description of the warning, the
appropriate response, and the section of this manual that gives more
information.
