QUICK TIMER RECORDING

1.  Insert blank tape.

2.  Turn on the TV and set it to Channel 3 or 4 to match the switch
    setting on the VCR.

3.  Turn TV/VCR so that VCR appears on the display.

4.  Press INPUT to select desired input.

5.  Press TAPE SPEED to set desired recording speed.

6.  Select desired channel to record.

7.  Press QTR OFF TIME twice to begin recording.

8.  Press QTR OFF TIME repeatedly until the VCR displays the desired 
    ending time.  This is in 30 minute increments.

PROGRAM TIMER OPERATION

1.   Insert blank tape.

2.   Turn on the TV and have it set at the same channel as the output
     switch.

3.   Press TV/VCR until VCR appears on the display.

4.   Press PROGRAM on the remote control.

5.   Press 2 to select timer setting.

6.   Use the remote control's numbers to select Prog. 1-6.

7.   Use number buttons 1-3 to set desired timer mode.

8.   Use number buttons to set the desired date.  Precede single digits
     with a zero.

9.   Use number buttons to set the start time.

10.  Press 1 to select AM or 2 to select PM.

11.  Repeat Steps 9 and 10 to set ending time.

12.  Use number buttons to select desired channel.

13.  Press 0 twice if you want to set a simulcast or A/V recording.  Then
     press 0 for simulcast or 1 for A/V.

14.  Press number buttons 1-3 to select Tape speed.

15.  Press PROGRAM to store information.

16.  Press PROGRAM again to erase the menu.

17.  Press POWER to turn off the VCR.
