How to use the VideoGuide remote.

The VideoGuide remote control enables you to use all the VideoGuide
services and features. The remote also performs most of the major functions
of your TV and cable box remotes.

The VideoGuide remote performs different functions depending upon whether
you are watching TV or using a VideoGuide service.

While watching TV:

While you watch TV, the VideoGuide remote is a "universal" remote
performing the most used functions of your TV and cable box remotes.  These
functions are labeled on the remote.

TV:  Press the TV button to turn your TV on and off.

GUIDE:  Press the GUIDE button to enter the VideoGuide Menu and access all
VideoGuide services.

LAST:  Press the LAST button to switch between two shows selected from
Program Guide.

MUTE:  Press the MUTE button to turn the TV sound on and off.

JOYSTICK:  Move the JOYSTICK left and right to adjust the TV volume.  Move
the JOYSTICK up and down to change channels.

TIP:  Using the LAST button:

      If you want to switch back and forth between two shows, simply select
      one show from Program Guide and press TV button to go to that show,
      then, reenter Program Guide, select the second show and press the TV
      button to go to that show.  Pressing the LAST button will switch you
      back and forth between the two selected shows.

How to use the VideoGuide remote.  While using a VideoGuide service:

The VideoGuide remote provides you with easy control of the VideoGuide
service and features.

TV:  Press the TV button to go to a TV show selected in a VideoGuide
service or to leave a VideoGuide service and return to watching TV.

GUIDE:  Press the GUIDE button to enter a service selected from the Video
Guide Menu or to return to the VideoGuide Menu while using a VideoGuide
service.

LEFT ACTION:  Press the LEFT ACTION button to perform the function labeled
in the banner.  (see TIP)

RIGHT ACTION: Press the RIGHT ACTION button to perform the function labeled
in the banner.  (see TIP)

JOYSTICK:  Move the JOYSTICK left or right, up or down to scroll around the
VideoGuide service and make selections.

TIP:  ACTION button function labels:
      At the top of each VideoGuide screen is an area called the banner.
      The middle area of the banner contains a picture of the button area
      of the remote with labels identifying the function of the LEFT and
      RIGHT ACTION buttons.  The functions change depending upon which
      service you are performing.  These labels are always on screen to
      guide you.
