Video Guide User's Manual (150-1980) Menu Faxback Doc. # 33502 VideoGuide Menu What you can do from the VideoGuide Menu: The VideoGuide Menu provides a simply way to find, select, and enter a VideoGuide service. From the VideoGuide menu, you may also check the status of your subscription, change your setup settings, or check the quality and strength of the signal your receiver is receiving. How to enter VideoGuide Service: 1. Each VideoGuide service has its own "tile." While on the VideoGuide Menu, move the VideoGuide remote's JOYSTICK up or down to select a service tile. 2. Some services offer multiple formats or options. From the desired service tile, select a format or option by moving the JOYSTICK right or left. 3. Once the service and desired format is selected, press the VideoGuide remote's GUIDE button to enter the service. Entering the VideoGuide Menu: While watching television or using a VideoGuide service, simply press the GUIDE button on the VideoGuide remote to access the VideoGuide Menu. Menu Tile Colors: (colors may vary from TV to TV) The service tile colors change depending upon whether or not you are subscribed, or whether you are in the 30 day free subscription period. If a service tile is: Then Dark Green You have subscribed to this service. Green You are in the 30 day free subscription period. Gray You are not subscribed period. VideoGuide Menu 1. Each service has a "tile"; move the JOYSTICK up or down to select a service tile. (When a tile is selected it "brightens.") Press the GUIDE button to enter the selected service. 2. Some services offer multiple formats or options. Move the JOYSTICK left or right to select the desired format. 3. You may select the time and day you wish to enter Program Guide and the sport on which you wish to enter Sports Guide. Select the service tile and press the LEFT or RIGHT ACTION buttons to cycle through the choices. The current choice is displayed in the service's tile. 4. The clock in the upper right hand corner of all screens is set automatically once VideoGuide begins receiving information. When your VideoGuide receiver needs new batteries, the clock alternately flashes the time and a picture of a battery. 5. The Information Box is at the bottom of every VideoGuide screen. When a service tile is selected during the 30 day free subscription, it explains how to enter the service and how to subscribe. TIPS: Video Guide's screens are arranged in blocks of information we call "tiles." You can "select" a tile by moving the JOYSTICK up or down, left or right. When a tile is selected, it "brightens" and the lettering turns black. At the top of each VideoGuide screen is an area called the "banner." The banner displays the name of the service you are using, labels for the VideoGuide remote's ACTION buttons (see above), and a clock (see 4 above). ! When your VideoGuide receiver requires new batteries, the clock alternately flashes the time and a battery icon. Always keep fresh batteries in your VideoGuide receiver.
