The 25-1701 Sound card does not work properly in the 1000 SX.  This was 
tested on a 1000 SX with the following equipment.

    1000 SX (640 K)
    720 K DRIVE 
    20 MEG HARD CARD (IDE)
    25-1701 SOUND CARD 

The reported problem was that the SG2.exe program would lock up the 
computer.  This was confirmed, with the following settings.

THE CARD WAS INSTALLED USING IRQ'S  2,3,5,7  RESPECTIVELY.  NONE OF THE
SETTING WORKED .  CHANGED THE IRQ OF THE HARD CARD FROM 5 TO 2 AND BACK 
THIS MADE NO DIFFERENCE.  CHANGED THE SLOT THE SOUND CARD WAS IN.  NO
DIFFERENCE.

Conclusion:  The diagnostic software that comes with the 25-1701 Sound card
             does not work with the 1000 SX.
