Be sure to perform all print cartridge replacement steps from start to
finish without interruption.

1.  Turn the printer power on.

2.  Open the print cartridge access door.

3.  Double-click the WinWriter 150c Printer Control icon.

4.  Choose the Cartridges tab.

5.  Choose the Install Black Cartridge button if you are replacing the
    black print cartridge or the Install Color Cartridge button if you are
    replacing the color print cartridge.

    The print cartridge carrier moves to the load position.

6.  Pull the handle of the print cartridge you are replacing toward you
    until you hear a click.

7.  Remove the print cartridge from the printer.

8.  Remove the replacement print cartridge from its packaging.

    * Hold the print cartridge by the blue, red, or black areas only.
    * Do not touch the copper area.

9.  Carefully remove the tape covering the printhead.

    Be sure to remove all the tape.  Do not touch the copper area.

10.  Insert the print cartridge in the carrier.

11.  Push the cartridge back until it clicks into place.

     If the print cartridge moves loosely in the carrier, it is not locked
     into place.  Repeat this step.

If you are installing a new print cartridge, do step 12a.  If you are
removing and reinstalling the same print cartridge, go to step 12b.

12a.  Choose the New Cartridge Installed button if you have installed a new
      print cartridge and need to reset the Ink Low Indicator.  Continue
      with step 13.

12b.  Choose the Old Cartridge Installed button if you are reinstalling a
      used cartridge and do not want to reset the Ink Low Indicator.  Print
      cartridge installation is complete.  Do not continue with the steps
      that follow.

13.  Align the printheads.

     The Align Cartridges dialog box appears on your screen and the printer
     prints a test page with horizontal patterns and vertical patterns.
     Each pattern has a number located beneath it.

14.  Using the printed test page, note the horizontal pattern and the
     vertical pattern that are aligned correctly.

15.  Enter the number located under each pattern into the boxes on the tab.

     alignment test pattern and additional information.

16.  Choose OK.

17.  Close the print cartridge access door.
