With all ink jet printers the quality of the print depends on the type of
paper that you use and on which side of the paper you print.  Some papers
produce better results than others.

Here are lists of papers which have worked well with the ExecJet IIc in
tests conducted by Lexmark in August 1994.

COLOR PRINT CARTRIDGE

These papers produce good to excellent print quality with the color print
cartridge.  Print quality results with the black cartridge will vary.

NOTE:  In general the ExecJet IIc produces its best color printing on
       coated paper.  For superior printing results using the color print
       cartridge, Lexmark recommends using the LEXMARK 4076 COATED PAPER
       FOR COLOR PRINTING.  You can order this paper, P/N 1402649, from
       your local retailer or call (800) 438-2468.

You can use letter, legal, A5, A4, B5, executive, and index card size paper
with the printer.

Envelopes:

You can use # 7-3/4, # 9, # 10 (U.S. Business), DL, C5, B5, C6, and
postcard-sized envelopes with the printer.

Transparencies:

The printer supports standard-sized (A4 and letter) transparencies.  Use a
transparency designed for an ink-jet printer such as Lexmark's IBM
Transparencies for the IBM 4079 Printer, Lexmark part number 1372083
(letter size) and 1372084 (A4 size).

Do not use transparencies designed for copiers and laser printers or for
pen plotters.

Use the sheet feeder to print on transparencies.

Labels:

You can use letter and A4-sized labels designed for use with the ink-jet
printers.
