The print head adjustment control is on the right side of the printer, 
below the platen knob. It adjusts the gap between the print head and the 
platen for using various paper weights. Adjust the print head according to 
the paper thickness variations, as described below.

Note: When installing/removing the ribbon cassette, use Position 4.
