DMP-134 (260-2848) Switch Settings Faxback Doc. # 4530 SETTING THE PRINT FUNCTION (DIP) SWITCHES There are six switches located on the printed circuit board inside the printer. These switches control various features of your printer. For each switch function, see Table 2, "DIP Switch Print Functions." TABLE 2. Figure 14 shows the default switch settings. Note that the black square represents the switch and the white square represents the empty position. NOTE: The printer must be off before you change any of the switches. If you have been printing, allow the print head to cool down before touching it. When setting the switches, open the printer cover, remove the ribbon cassette, and manually move the print head to the right. Grasp the fin of the compartment cover on the mechanical frame and slide it to the left to remove it. After setting the DIP switches, replace the compartment cover, reinstall the ribbon cassette and replace the printer cover. (dtc-07/26/93)
