The format used for the 40 meg Internal Tape Cartridge System is THETA
format (QIC-40 standard).  The cartridge type specified in the operating
instructions is the DC 2000 (3M or equivalent).  This is an unformatted
cartridge and must be formatted by the user.  The 25-4069 will format the
blank tape using THETA format.  If a preformatted cartridge is used it must
be THETA format.
