FM Wireless Microphone (330-1076) Operation Faxback Doc. # 15283 TUNING You'll need to tune your Wireless Microphone to a blank spot within the FM band. To do this, use the tuning tool molded onto the tip of the antenna wire. First, turn off the AFC and Muting controls if your receiver has them. Next, turn your receiver to the extreme top of the dial (108) and then slowly tune downwards (towards 88). Stop at the quietest blank spot after passing the first station. You will obtain the best results when no stations can be heard at the blank spot. When you turn up the volume you should only hear hissing. This step is very important and care should be taken to locate the quietest blank spot. There is a small hole on the front of your Wireless Microphone case. With the battery installed, set the power switch to ON and insert the tuning tool tip through the hole. Do not push in. At the bottom of the hole is a screw that adjusts the frequency of your Wireless Microphone. Carefully turn the screw with the tuning tool tip. If your receiver has no tuning indicator, listen for a high pitched whistle (called feedback) from your receiver. Slowly adjust the screw until you have the loudest whistle from your FM receiver. Now your wireless Microphone and the FM receiver are on the same frequency. (ALL-07/20/95)
