INSTALLING BATTERIES

1.  Set POWER to OFF.

2.  Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the mixer and load four
    AA batteries (not included).  Observe the polarity symblols marked
    inside the compartment.

3.  Use shielded cables to connect the mixer's OUTPUT jacks and the Aux (or
    Line Input) jacks on your amplifier/receiver or power amp.

    NOTES:  Be sure to connect LEFT to the left channel and RIGHT to the
            right channel.

            If the amplifier is monaural, connect only one OUTPUT lead and
            set the mixer to MONO.

4.  Set your amplifier's volume controls to minimum.

5.  Set all the mixer's linear sliding controls to 0 (minimum).
