Multi-Channel Professional Wireless Microphone Receiver (320-1233) Preparation Faxback Doc. # 16853 POWERING THE RECEIVER You can operate the receiver from the supplied 12-volt DC power adapter. CAUTION: Use only the supplied adapter. If you lose or damage this adapter, order a replacement from your local Radio Shack store. Using other adapters could damage the receiver. Be sure the receiver's POWER button is out (off) before you connect the adapter. Connect the adapter as shown in the illustration. Then plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet. CONNECTING THE RECEIVER AUDIO OUTPUTS To connect the receiver's LINE output to the line input of an amplifier, tape recorder, or mixing board, use shielded cable with phono-plugs on both ends. To connect the receiver's MICROPHONE output to the microphone input of an amplifier, tape recorder, or mixing board, use a shielded cable with a 1/4-inch mono phone plug on one end and the appropriate connector (phone plug or XLR connector) on the other end. Follow the instructions in the owner's manual for your other audio equipment to make all other connections. SETTING THE RECEIVER CHANNEL You can set your receiver to one of eight channels. This lets you use more than one receiver/microhpone pair in the same audio system. Follow these steps to set the channel. 1. Follow the instructions in the microphone's owner's manual to set the microphone's channel. 2. Use a coin or screwdriver to set the channel selector switch on the receiver to the same channel as the microphone. NOTE: When using more than one wireless system do not set any two wireless systems to adjacent channels. For example, if one wireless system is set to Channel C, do not set any other wireless system to Channel B or D. Two wireless systems set to adjacent channels will interfere with each other.
