Multi-Channel Wireless Lapel Microphone (320-1231) Operation Faxback Doc. # 17165 NOTE: You must connect a compatible wireless microphone receiver to your audio system and fully extend the receiver's antenna. 1. Turn on your amplifier, tape recorder, mixing board, and other necessary audio system components. Set their volume controls (or input level controls) to moderate settings. 2. Set the microphone receiver's volume control to its minimum position. 3. Turn on the microphone receiver. 4. Set the microphone receiver's channel switch to the same channel as the microphone. 5. Set the microphone's OFF/STANDBY/ON switch to ON. 6. Clip the microphone near your mouth - on your collar, for example. Talk into the microphone and adjust the receiver's volume control to the desired level. NOTE: Experiment with the microphone receiver's volume setting, the settings of other components in your audio system, and the microphone's position until you get the best results. USING THE STANDBY SETTING The microphone's STANDBY setting lets you turn off the microphone without turning off the microphone's transmitter. If you move the switch between ON and OFF, or STANDBY and OFF, while your amplifier is on, there is a loud pop. But, there is no pop when you move the switch between STANDBY and ON. When you finish using the microphone, turn off the amplifier, then set the switch to OFF to conserve battery power.
