RADIO OPERATION 

1.  Set VOLUME counterclockwise to its minimum setting. 

2.  Set ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM to ON to turn on the radio. 

3.  Set AM/FM to your desired band. 

4.  Adjust VOLUME as desired. 

5.  Adjust TUNING to tune to your desired station. 

    NOTE: The radio has two antennas.  The AM antenna is built-in. 
          Rotate the radio for the best AM reception.  For the best FM 
          reception, fully extend the power cord which serves as the FM 
          antenna. 

6.  Set ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM to OFF to turn off the radio. 

CLOCK OPERATION 

SETTING THE TIME 

1.  Press and hold TIME SET. 

2.  Repeatedly press or press and hold HOUR to set the hour. 

    NOTE: The PM indicator lights for a PM hour. 

3.  Repeatedly press or press and hold MINUTE to set the minutes. 

USING THE ALARM 

To use the alarm, you must first set the alarm time and then turn on the 
alarm. 

SETTING THE ALARM 

1.  Press and hold ALARM SET. 

2.  Repeatedly press or press and hold HOUR to set the alarm hour. 

    NOTE: The PM indicator lights for a PM hour. 

3.  Repeatedly press or press and hold MINUTE to set the alarm minutes. 

NOTES:  When you release ALARM SET, the current time returns to the
        display.

        To view the alarm time while the current time is displayed, press
        ALARM SET. 

TURNING THE ALARM BUZZER/RADIO ON OR OFF 

You can set your clock radio to either sound a buzzer or play the radio at 
the preset alarm time. 

To sound a buzzer, set ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM to ALARM. 

To play the radio, make sure the radio is tuned to a station.  Then set 
ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM to AUTO. 

To turn off the buzzer or radio, set ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM to OFF or press 
ALARM SET. 

NOTES: The ALARM indicator on the lower left corner of the display lights
       when the alarm is turned on. 

       If you do not turn off the alarm, the buzzer or radio sounds for
       about 59 minutes, then goes off until the next day at the preset 
       alarm time. 

       After you turn off the alarm buzzer or radio, set ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM
       to ALARM again to sound the alarm or to AUTO to sound the radio the
       next day at the preset alarm time. 

USING SNOOZE

To silence the alarm but have it sound again in about 9 minutes, press 
SNOOZE.

NOTE:  You can repeatedly press SNOOZE for up to 1 hour 59 minutes. After 1
       hour 59 minutes, the alarm buzzer or radio does not come on again
       until the next day at the preset alarm time. 

USING THE SLEEP TIMER 

You can set the radio to play for up to 1 hour and 59 minutes and then 
automatically turn off. 

To set the sleep timer, set ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM to OFF, AUTO, or ALARM, then 
press SLEEP. 

For a playing time of 59 minutes or less, press and hold down SLEEP. Then 
repeatedly press or press and hold MINUTE until the display shows the 
desired minute setting. 

For a playing time between 1 hour and 1 hour, 59 minutes, press and hold 
down SLEEP.  Then press and hold MINUTE until the sleep timer passes 0:00.  
1:59 shows on the display.  Continue to press and hold SLEEP and MINUTE 
until the display shows the desired setting. 

To turn off the sleep timer before the preset playing time, press SNOOZE. 

THE FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW 

Your radio might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating 
properly.  To determine if the radio is causing the interference, turn it 
off.  If the interference goes away, the radio is causing the interference.  
Try to eliminate the interference by: 

    Moving the radio away from the receiver 

    Contacting your local RadioShack store for help

If you cannot eliminate the interference, the FCC requires that you stop
using the radio.
