Just plug the AC line cord into a source of 120 Volt 60Hz AC power (Use 220/240 Volt 50Hz AC outlet, if your set is so indicated on the rear.) 1. TUNING CONTROL 2. VOLUME CONTROL 3. CLOCK DIAL 4. ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM SELECTOR 5. TIME SET AND ALARM SET KNOB 6. AC LINE CORD. SETTING THE CLOCK The time set control is located on the back of the Radio. Pull the knob and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise until the correct time shows on the clock. PLAYING THE RADIO Turn your Radio on by rotating the ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM Selector to the "ON" position. Adjust the TUNING Control for the station you want, as indicated on the dial. Now, adjust the VOLUME Control to suit your listening taste. You can turn the Radio off by returning the ON/OFF/- AUTO/ALARM selector switch to the "OFF" position. You may notice that moving or rotating the Radio slightly will affect reception. This is normal. You might want to try a few different positions so you obtain optimum reception. THE WAKE-UP FEATURES Your Clock-Radio offers two wake-up features: Wake to music. Wake to music, followed by alarm. WAKE TO MUSIC: First, choose the station you would like to wake up to. Next, PUSH the ALARM SET Knob at the back of the Radio and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise so that the Red Alarm Hand points to your desired wake-up time on the Clock Dial. Then, turn the ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM Selector to "AUTO" position. The Radio will automatically turn on and start to play at the preset time. To turn the Radio off, just move the ON/OFF/AUTO/ALARM Selector back to the "OFF position. WAKE TO MUSIC, FOLLOWED BY ALARM: Follow the first two steps for "WAKE TO MUSIC". Then set the ON/OFF/- AUTO/ALARM Selector to "ALARM" position. The Radio will automatically turn on and start to play at the preset time and about ten minutes later the ALARM will also come on. Turn the Alarm off by simply moving the Selector to "AUTO" position. The Radio will continue to play. Turn the Radio off by moving the Selector to "OFF". We recommend you keep your Radio away from concentrations of dust and dirt. Also, do not expose it to high temperatures-for example, do not position it on a window ledge where it receives direct concentrated sunlight. Please do not use strong thinners to clean the case; a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent solution will be adequate. (02/09/96)
