Q:  Unable to adjust Master Preset to zero.  All others work fine but
    Master only adjusts to -10 to -15 dB.  Unit records fine.

A:  All slider controls for Inputs and Master must be set in center.
    Normally use a Tone of a known level for setting the Master Preset. If
    any of the sliders are above Center or the source is too hot,
    distortion will occur very easily.  Master is normally set only to
    record a tape in a higher level such as for car stereos, etc.
