Your Radio Shack CTR 96 Voice Activated Cassette Tape Recorder offers the
greatest convenience in recording technology.  Recording begins and ends
with sound, which gives you hands-free operation while recording.  The
CTR-96's microphone is sensitive enough for the board room, a seminar,
or a lecture hall.  And it's small enough to fit in your briefcase or
purse, so it can go wherever you go.

The CTR-96's features include:

             Tape Speed Selector - allows you to select from normal, slow,
                                   or fast playback speeds.

                      Cue Marker - lets you insert a tone to mark the
                                   beginning or end of a recording.

          Mic Sensitivity Switch - allows you to select low, medium, or
                                   high microphone sensitivity for
                                   recording.

        External Microphone Jack - allows you to use either the built-in
                                   microphone or an external microphone to
                                   make recordings.

        Record/Battery Indicator - lights when you are recording and
                                   indicates the battery's condition.

            Digital Tape Counter - helps you quickly find a specific
                                   section on the cassette.

Built-In Automatic Level Control - automatically sets the right recording
                                   level; no need to adjust volume while
                                   recording.

             Three Power Sources - let you power your recorder from
                                   internal batteries, or from a vehicle's
                                   cigarette-lighter socket or a standard
                                   AC power outlet (using the appropriate
                                   optional adapter).

    Automatic Shut-Off Mechanism - automatically shuts off the recorder at
