Compact Disc Cassette Adapter

The Radio Shack Compact Disc Cassette Adapter lets you play compact discs
through your car, home or portable cassette player.  It is compatible with
most car cassette players, and requires no permanent installation.  Follow
these simple instructions to use the adapter.

1.  Without fully inserting the adapter into your cassette player, position
    it as you would a standard cassette.

2.  If the adapter's cord is positioned where it interferes with the
    cassette player's mechanism, carefully but firmly pull up on one corner
    of the detachable rib and remove it.  Move the cable so it comes out of
    one of the four possible locations, then replace the rib.

3.  Fully insert the adapter into the cassette player.  Plug the adapter's
    cable into the CD player's headphone jack and adjust the CD player's
    volume to a low setting.

4.  Turn on the cassette player and operate the CD player.  Adjust the
    cassette player's and CD player's volume controls until the sound is at
    the desired level.  For the best results, set the controls so neither
    is above its midpoint.

NOTE:  Eject the adapter as you would any cassette.

Use a Radio Shack plug adapter, such as Cat. No. 274-367 not included, to
connect equipment having a 1/4" headphone jack, or to connect other monaural equipment.
