AM/FM Stereo Car Cassette Player (120-1942) Wiring Faxback Doc. # 19317 Connecting Power and Antenna 1. Black wire to a ground. 2. Red/White wire (in line fuse holder) to a continuous 12 V source. 3. Solid red power wire (with in-line fuse holder) from the harness to the ACC (accessory terminal in fuse block). 4. Vehicle's antenna cable to the antenna jack on the back of the stereo. 5. Orange wire to optional equipment. (Example: Auto Antenna, equalizer- booster.) 6. Connect the five-wire harness to the front speaker socket. 7. Reconnect the battery cable. Connecting Speakers 1. Brown wire to the right speaker's positive (+) terminal. 2. Grey wire to the right speaker's negative (-) terminal. 3. Green wire to the left speaker's positive (+) terminal. 4. White wire to the speaker's negative (-) terminal. Connecting an Equalizer/Booster 1. If the Equalizer/Booster has a line-level connector, use an audio patch cable (not supplied) to connect the equalizer/booster to the stereo's line-out jacks. 2. If the Equalizer/Booster has a speaker-level connector, connect the Equalizer/Booster to the stereo's front wiring harness. (IR-02/12/96)
