NOTES ABOUT THE SOFTWARE.

WINDOWS 95

The AT&T Globalyst comes with Windows 95 pre-installed. The Windows 95 cd 
is in the System Pack.  If you insert the Windows 95 cd, the Autoplay 
feature will bring up a menu automatically. The menu displays the 
following choices.

    Windows 95 Tour
    Microsoft Exposition 
    Hover
    Cool video clips
    Browse this cd
    Add/Remove software

There are (2) printers installed already, Epson LQ 2550 and IBM Proprinter
XL.  There are also (3) fax printers installed, Microsoft Fax, PCC Fax, and
Qmodem Pro Fax.  The modem is on com 3.  The taskbar is loaded vertically
to the right of the screen. A Quickcards icon is on the taskbar, along with
the speaker icon. A read me icon is on the desktop, which contains
information about the TPC modem.

Everything else appears normal on the desktop. The background is an AT&T 
design logo.  All information in the SYSTEM icon in control panel is
normal, and proper drivers loaded for the modem, sound card, and CD-ROM.  
There is an additional icon in the control panel called VCOS WAVE/MIDI 
DRIVER. It allows you to choose between 1meg wavetable and OPL-3FM
emulation, default is 1 meg wavetable.  The display driver is a generic S3 
set to 640x480x256. Current setting is capable of the HighColor 16-bit as 
large as 800x600. There is no screen saver set active.

The Advanced Power Management is not enabled by default. When enabled in 
the Phoenix Bios Setup, Windows 95 does automatically load and use the 
Advanced Power Management feature, adding the choice of SUSPEND, on the 
Start Menu, as well as a POWER icon in the Control Panel.

The one-gig hard drive comes pre-loaded with all the software, and has 
692 meg free.
