Sound 144 Utilities

HWSET.EXE - Allows user to change hardware settings of the sound card.

DIAGNOSE.TXT - Performs various sound tests on the sound card.

CDPLAY.EXE - Allows user to play audio CDs.

MIXTSR.EXE - A memory resident program that is the MS-DOS based mixer
             utility for the Sound 16A card.  Allows Volume, and balance 
             adjustments for Wave, CD, MIC and other audio sources.

*To remove the MIXTSR.EXE file from memory, type:

MIXTSR /Q <ENTER>

EASYSTAR.EXE - This file brings up a menu of options including the 
Diagnose, Config, Mixtsr, and CdPlay utilities.

CONFIG.EXE - This utility allows you to alter the configuration of your 
sound card.  

All the files listed above are located in the C:\SOUND144\UTILITY directory
 of the harddrive.

From Windows 95

From SOUND144 Utilities, under Programs, select the MIXER CONTROL option
and make adjustments to volume, balance, etc. from this area.  Also an
option, is Media Player, for playing audio CDs.
