The FIXIT diskette resolves the following problems in WinMate--

   1.  The problem of a faxed message received from the Message Center
       not wrapping around correctly.

   2.  Double clicking on a blank graphic field resulted in GP fault.

   3.  In 640x480x16 video mode, selecting a picture from Photographics
       in Contact Manager resulted in GP fault.

   4.  The Party-Luau Card could not be edited.

   5.  Legal-size paper could not be selected when faxing.

   6.  When using Phone Center to receive a fax, the modem locks up at
       the last baud rate used, until the computer is reset.

   7.  When SHARE.EXE was loaded a Share violation error occurred in the
       Phone Center.

To obtain a diskette containing the "Software Update or Recovery" choose 
the "Software Updates and Recoveries" portion of the Radio Shack Product 
Support CD-ROM program at your local Radio Shack Store or call the Radio 
Shack Product Support Center at (817)878-6875, 9 AM. to 7 PM. CST, Monday
through Friday (excluding holidays).

The disk contains the following files:

command.com
fixit.bat
new.exe
readme.txt
setmodem.exe
spin.vbx

INSTALLATION:

1. Start up you computer.
2. Insert Fixit disk in drive a.
3.  If you are not already at the root directory of drive c type in:
     cd\
    and press <enter>.  If you are at the root directory of drive c,
    ignore this step and proceed to step 4.
4.  Type in:
      A:
     and press <enter>.
5.  Type in:
     FIXIT
     and press <enter>.

This will self-extract the necessary files to the appropriate directories 
on the hard drive.
