Sensation (250-1651) COM Port Settings Faxback Doc. # 3563 If the COM port settings on the Sensation2! have been changed by accessing the F2 Setup, the following problems will occur: a. If COM 1 is disabled and no other device is assigned to COM 1, the fax/ modem will automatically move from COM 2 to COM 1. This will generate an error at boot up that reads "VodaFax sound driver error communicating with modem". b. If COM 2 is enabled, the machine will lock up at the opening Sensation! screen that has the wallpaper of the 4 CD's. If you get a call stating that the customer cannot close Windows, have them check to see if there is a phone off hook in the top left corner of Program Manager. If so, then have them double-click to remove it, and they should then be able to close Windows. To save a file in MacroMedia, the video must be set to 256. If the video is set to default, you will get an error stating "Disk Full or File not found". To change the video, access the VGA icon. Double-click on the Setres icon, select the 256 option, and save. (tlc/all-09/1/94)
